In June of 2017, five delegates of UMIYAC attended the Fifth Congress of Latin American Anthropology, in Bogotá, Colombia.
UMIYAC presented a paper at a symposium organized by anthropologists Alhena Caicedo and Beatriz Labate, called: SOCIAL USE AND POLITICAL ECONOMY OF THE AYAHUASCA: PERSPECTIVES FROM LATIN AMERICA.
